The Tarim Oilfield has put more than 100 new wells into production this year.
Release time:2025/12/25

As of December 21, the Tarim Oilfield has put 113 new wells into production this year, with a new crude oil production capacity of 1.0923 million tons and a natural gas production capacity of 2.234 billion cubic meters. Behind this achievement lies the combined efforts of the oilfield's "map-based operation" deadline mechanism, full-chain technical support, and refined management.
To accelerate the progress of pre-drilling construction and the drilling of exploration wells, the Tarim Oilfield has refined the pre-drilling process and established a closed-loop management mechanism of "real-time tracking, weekly supervision, biweekly notification, and year-end assessment", laying the foundation for exploration discoveries and the completion of reserve tasks. By the end of November, 51 exploration and appraisal wells had been drilled, an increase of 10 from the same period last year, representing a growth of 24%.
Technology solves problems, unlocking the "underground maze". During the drilling of risk exploration wells in the southwest of the Tarim Basin, the Tarim Oilfield strengthened lithology identification and formation prediction, and achieved "preventing collapse, collapse and leakage" through dynamic adjustment of drilling fluid density. The Fudong 105 well, facing ultra-deep and high-pressure extreme conditions, adopted full-process simulation exercises and 24-hour pressure monitoring, setting a domestic record for oil well flow pressure production. The application of mobile logging laboratories and continuous light hydrocarbon monitoring technology has transformed oil and gas identification from "post-event analysis" to "real-time decision-making", pressing the "fast-forward" button for reservoir evaluation.
Mechanism innovation, breaking through the "last mile". The Tarim Oilfield has sorted out the problems in the entire chain of single-well production, issued the "Notice on Accelerating the Construction of Single-Well Surface Facilities", and through measures such as optimizing the design start time and promoting standardized material reserves, the average production cycle of development wells has been shortened by more than 18 days, and the average production cycle of exploration and appraisal wells has been shortened by nearly 46 days, with production efficiency increasing by 45% and 29% respectively.
